The EVEC sensor is simply put on the driver's
seat. There is no wire connection to be made. The sensor is triggered
using the software running on the PocketPC through the wireless link. |

|
The driver sits on the EVEC
sensor. Its presence is detected by the embedded sensor. This presence
sensor measures the real exposure time to vibrations. The driver works
as usual: he can leave the vehicle and come back; this is automatically
taken into account in the exposure value computation. There is no user
operation and basic data manipulation needed. |

|
A the end of the driver's work
(end of the day or end of the shift), the
operator downloads the measurement results from the EVEC sensor to the PocketPC through the wireless link. The software on the Pocket PC
automatically computes and displays the A(8) daily exposure value.
